Design of an Efficient WEC for the Chilean Sea

Research project focused on the conceptual and engineering development of a wave energy converter adapted to the sea conditions of the Chilean coast.

2018

WEC Model for Use in Model-Based Control Design

Development of a mathematical and dynamic model of a wave energy converter to support the design and assessment of model-based control strategies.

2021

Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Group

Institutional project supporting the development of research capabilities in renewable energy and energy efficiency, contributing to the consolidation of related work within the group.

2024

Power Evaluation of a WEC with Variable Stiffness

Project aimed at assessing the power performance of a wave energy converter incorporating variable stiffness to improve dynamic response and energy capture.

Collaboration Between Chilean Universities, the University of Edinburgh, and RWTH Aachen University for the Development of Marine Energy in Chile
